Parents & Families
During college, your student will learn and grow as an individual on many levels from learning to navigate through campus, to writing an A-worthy paper and reaching out to make new friends. Many opportunities for growth will come quickly, starting with their first week at WSU.
As your student transitions into greater and greater independence, your role as a parent certainly changes but it doesn’t diminish. Parents are an important influence as they support their student’s success, stay connected and encourage them to take advantage of the many resources WSU has to offer.
