Staying Connected

Parents and family members are encouraged to stay in touch with their student and with WSU.

Here are few ways you can stay up to date on WSU events, important dates and deadlines, as well as stay connected with your student while they are attending college.

The Social Side of Winona State

The Winona State Parents and Family Facebook page will help you learn more about ways to support your student. It's also an opportunity for you to find support from the community of parents and family members who have students attending WSU just like you.

Remember to like the main WSU Facebook page as well to see more about what’s going on across campus!

To discover other clubs, organizations and departments that are sharing updates and pics, visit the social media directory

Parents & Families Newsletter

This one-page newsletter provides insights on current practices, events and insights happening on campus.

WSU Blogs

Hear from WSU students about their successes, challenges and insights – it’s a great way to get more information about what your student may be experiencing while they are here.

WSU has a variety of blogs that are written by students, along with some that are focused on campus events and others that provide the perspective of the President and Provost at WSU.

Check out the WSU blogs and become more familiar with the campus community.

WSU Alert

The WSU Alert system will keep you in the loop in case of emergencies--including severe weather-- on campus or in the Winona area. WSU Alert can provide critical information even if computers and telephones are compromised.

You are encouraged to sign up for this free alert system.
