How to Apply

Getting a master’s degree is an exciting experience. We also understand it may be scary at times.

To help make this process easier, here’s a breakdown of what you’ll need to do to be admitted to the Health/Healthcare Leadership graduate program.
1

Meet HHL Admission Requirements

Students with a 2.75 cumulative GPA in a related field of study from an accredited university along with health-, allied health- or healthcare-related professional experience are eligible for program admission.

Major GPA will also be considered.

2

Choose Program Entry Option

There are two ways that students can choose to enter the HHL program.

Undergraduate + Graduate Path

Students can enroll in the HLA undergraduate online degree completion program with the intention to graduate with the HHL master’s degree.

HLA's undergraduate major will take 9 credits at the graduate level that will apply to both degrees and accelerate their HHL program completion.

Graduate Path Only

Students with a 4-year undergraduate degree in a related field along with health-, allied health- or healthcare-related professional experience can enroll in the HHL master’s degree.

If You Transfer Credits

Students cannot transfer more than nine credits for consideration if the course(s) meet HHL program objectives and learning outcomes.

Credit for Prior Learning may also be an option for up to than 9 credits.

3

Get Admitted to WSU’s School of Graduate School

The first thing you need to do is apply to WSU’s School of Graduate Studies.

Admission to WSU’s School of Graduate Studies is necessary to be admitted to the HHL program, but it does not guarantee admission to the HHL program.
