Whether you are just learning about the opportunities at WSU-Rochester or are currently enrolled and need further assistance to make sure you succeed, visiting advisors can help answer any questions.

Advisors regularly visit WSU-Rochester campus to provide assistance with the following topics and services.

To make sure that students with disabilities have equal access to their education, WSU Access Services coordinates academic accommodations such as extended time on tests, exams in auditory format, accessible classrooms and labs as well as disability advising.

Any enrolled WSU student with a permanent documented disability—such as learning disabilities, ADHD, depression or low hearing and low vision--is eligible to use these accommodations.

WSU College of Business advisor regularly visits the WSU-Rochester campus to meet with prospective students interested in Business Administration or Human Resource Management. During an advising appointment, students can receive assistance with:

  • program admission
  • course planning
  • career paths and opportunities

Currently enrolled WSU-Rochester Students can schedule a Zoom meeting or a phone call with a financial aid counselor at any time throughout the semester.

An International Student and Scholar Services representative regularly visits the WSU-Rochester campus to meet with prospective and currently enrolled students regarding help with U.S. immigration regulations. They also serve as liaison with U.S. government agencies and foreign embassies.

Additionally, International Services advisors help international students adjust to the academic and cultural life in Rochester, MN.

Are you struggling due to mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, unmanaged stress, grief or loss? Are relationship/family issues, sexual orientation/identity concerns, sexual assault or substance abuse affecting your well-being?  

Please contact our office to connect with a personal counselor. Services provided are brief phone consultations, tele-counseling sessions via Zoom, or in-person appointments.
