CLM = College Level Math

Math 050 is developmental, non-degree credit course. It is a prerequisite for Math 112, 115 and/or 117 for those students who need these courses but do not meet their placement criteria.

Students placed into Math 050 may register for the ALEKS Preparation and Learning Program as an alternative to taking a developmental course.

Students with previously earned credit in college math may enroll in the next appropriate course regardless of ACT or test scores.

Students with prior language coursework or skills are encouraged to take the brief Foreign Language Placement Assessment. This self-test is free and will match you to the right initial course, based on your current level of language proficiency.

If you start in language course above 101, you may qualify for retroactive credit for earlier language courses.
