Sales Education Foundation Names WSU’s Strauss Center for Sales Excellence a 2022 Top University for Professional Sales Education

The Sales Education Foundation (SEF) has announced the release of their 2022 list of Top University Sales Programs, highlighting Winona State’s Strauss Center for Sales Excellence as one of the top programs preparing students for professional selling careers.

WSU Sales Team University Champions at 2022 National Shore Sales Challenge

The Winona State University Sales Team won the overall championship at the National Shore Sales Challenge sponsored by Salisbury University in Maryland March 31 - April 2.

This competition is the third largest national collegiate championship and hosted competitors from 38 universities.

The individual results included Mikaela Mohr as role play champion; Mohr and Stefan Einarson as two of the 10 finalists for Speed Selling; and Ben Prom as a semi-finalist in the role play competition.

Strauss Center for Sales Excellence Dedication

Through the generosity of the Bob and Mary Jo Strauss, the Winona State University Sales Center became the Strauss Center for Sales Excellence.

Winona State University Foundation Board of Trustees member Bob Strauss and his wife Mary Jo supported the sales program with a generous endowment because they believed there needed to be more communication and exchange between the academic world and the business world.

  • Oct. 19 - 20: National Team Selling Competition hosted by the Indiana University
  • Nov. 2 - 5: International Collegiate Sales Competition hosted by Florida State University
