Leadership Education & Development
There are many opportunities at WSU for aspiring student leaders.
You can run for Student Senate or lead a campus club. You can sign up as team captain for an intramural sports team. You can make students' on-campus housing experience memorable as a Resident Assistant. You can help students succeed in their classes as a tutor—and so much more.
But you don’t want to be just any leader. You want to be a great one. That’s where the Warriors L.E.A.D. Series comes in.
About the Warriors L.E.A.D. Series
The Warriors L.E.A.D. Series is a free three-part co-curricular program that gives students hands-on leadership training.
Through group discussions and other activities, you'll learn how to highlight your unique strengths using leadership tools.
- define your personal leadership styles.
- understand how those styles impact group dynamics.
- prepare yourself for post-graduation leadership roles.
Your session leader will give you the necessary materials, so all you have to do is show up and be ready to learn. Bonus: you won’t be required to do homework.
You can complete only one part or all three. Complete however many sessions that give you the confidence and skills you need for the leadership roles you’re interested in.
At the end of each part you complete, you’ll receive a certificate and a gift.
Check out what each part of the Warriors L.E.A.D. Series entails and how you can become a better student leader today.
