Warrior Game Day Experience for Students
Starting two hours before each football home game, the Warrior Game Day Experience (WGDX) is an event to boost campus and fan spirit and create an exciting atmosphere.
It's a great way to:
- connect with friends
- grab some food from local food trucks
- enjoy music, contests, inflatables, and other activities
- get pumped up with fellow Warrior fans to cheer our team on to victory

Exclusive WSU Student Giveaways
Students will want to make sure they come to all WGDX events for opportunities to win exclusive giveaways including t-shirts, baseball hats, and WSU beanies.
Student Fan Experience Drawings
Student Senate will host a drawing at each WGDX for special football fan experiences at future home games such as:
- concession packs
- meals at the President’s tent
- WSU Athletics apparel

Sept. 10: WSU Warriors vs. University of Mary 11-1pm
Game Theme: Purple Power
WSU Student Exclusive Giveaway: Free Warrior Purple Power t-shirts for the first 250 students who stop by the Homecoming table with your WSU Student ID
Student Senate Fan Experience Drawing: Enter the drawings for a free meal for 1 WSU student and 3 friends/family in the President's tent on Sept. 24 (provided by WSU Athletics), and 2 pairs of concussion snack packs for the Sept. 24 game (provided by Chartwells)
Sept. 24: Family Weekend - WSU Warriors vs. MSU Moorhead 11-1pm
Game Theme: Mental Health Awareness Day
WSU Student Exclusive Giveaway: Stop by the Student Health & Wellness Advocates table for a chance to win a mystery grab bag of fabulous prizes with your WSU Student ID!
Fan Experience Drawing: Enter the drawings for some official WSU Warriors apparel (provided by WSU Athletics), and 2 pairs of concession snack packs for the Oct. 1 game (provided by Chartwells)
Oct. 1: WSU Warriors vs. Wayne State College 11-1pm
Game Theme: Tackle Cancer & Breast Cancer Awareness Day
WSU Student Exclusive Giveaway: Free custom WSU dad (baseball) hat for the first 150 students with your WSU Student ID.
