Through the eWarrior program, you are ensured secure, reliable technology and complete support. This means you have the flexibility to complete your coursework on campus, within the comforts of your own home, or wherever your day takes you.

Generally, students at the WSU-Rochester campus can choose to participate in the eWarrior Digital Life and Learning Program. However, some programs do require students to fully participate in the program while still others require a modified version.

Talk to your academic advisor to find out if your program requires you to join the eWarrior program or not.

StarID is a username that is used across all colleges and universities in the Minnesota State system. It is a combination of randomly generated letters and numbers.

You will use your StarID credentials to log into your student email, connect to campus wi-fi, access OneDrive and many other online applications.

A Warrior/Tech ID is an eight-digit number that is specific to Winona State University and is listed on your Warrior ID card. It’s used less frequently now that the campus has switched to primarily using StarID.

Use the StarID Self Service to reset your StarID and password at any time yourself.

If your password has not expired, choose the option “Sign in to Profile” and sign in with your StarId and password. Choose "Edit" to change your password.

If your password is expired or unknown, choose the option “Reset my Password” and choose the option “I know my Tech ID” and enter your Winona State Warrior ID number and select Winona State from the list.

If you need assistance, contact the Technical Support Center at 507.457.5240.

Any Winona State University student or employee can sign in to LinkedIn Learning using their StarID credentials. Courses consist of a series of short videos designed to help you develop your creative, technical, and business skills.

LinkedIn learning provides continuous, self-service access to videos via multiple devices, at home or on the go, online or offline.
