Elementary Education (K-6) Online Program

To ensure today’s students receive what they need from their education, the Online Elementary Education program focuses on:

  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
  • Ethnographers of English/Language Arts
  • Global Studies
  • Action Research

Along with these semester themes, you’ll focus on:

  • Culture & Student Learning
  • Clinical Practice
  • Becoming Data-informed

A teacher of elementary education is authorized to design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children in a variety of K-6 school settings.

The elementary teacher collaborates with families, colleagues, and related service personnel to enhance the learning of all children. Graduates of this program will be eligible for Minnesota Elementary Education Licensure (K-6).
