The typical job search can take anywhere from six to nine months, so it is important to start the search early. Additionally, completing an internship in your major can give you industry-specific and practical experience that can make you a stronger candidate to employers once you graduate from WSU-Rochester.

Here are some resources to help you find a job or internship.

Handshake is an online job and internship recruitment system provided by WSU Career Services. It’s designed to connect students and alumni looking for work with employers with job openings to fill.

You can post your resume for hiring employers review and search through job listings for part-time, temporary, local, work-study, student-help or full-time jobs. Summer and semester internships are listed in Handshake as well. You can also register for career-related events such as interviews, job fairs and special events.
