Graduating with Honors in Psychology
Psychology majors may apply to graduate with honors. To qualify, students must:
- Achieve a GPA of 3.6 or better.
- Complete an approved internship (PSY 404) or research project (PSY 400 or 408) that resulted in publication or presentation at a conference.
- Have a record of service to the community. This is broadly defined as the consistent donation of time to assisting the greater community.
Students should check with their advisors early in their senior years to see if they are on track and to make sure they understand the requirements.
