Q: Why are you proud to be a WSU History BA graduate?
A: "My time in Winona took me much further than I ever imagined possible. I came to WSU for a summer class in June 2011, taking Modern East Asian Civilization with Dr. Lungerhausen. That class gave me an introduction to a country that would change the rest of my life.
After graduating in 2013, I moved to China and spent the next three years teaching English, learning Chinese, and traveling across East Asia. Now, ten years later, I am finishing a PhD in modern Chinese history from Penn State University. As the saying goes, you never know what’s around the corner."
