Area Clinics

WSU Health & Wellness Services is committed to offering our students the most accessible and affordable health care.

We are committed to providing services to and welcoming all, regardless of race, sexual orientation, or financial background.

We do not deny any of our students the right to access healthcare.

Local emergency service departments are always open.

Access to Health Care

Access to health care is essential to your academic success. Taking care of your health means fewer days missed from classes which helps you stay on course.

We have licensed medical staff that are available to meet students’ needs. We make it easy for students to access health services by:

  • Offering same-day appointments
  • Being located on campus
  • Serving as a primary clinic for international students
  • Providing many health resources and educational programs
  • Working with your insurance provider to become in-network

Affordable Health Care

One of the largest barriers for college students to access health care is cost. At WSU, we make healthcare more affordable by:

  • Keeping low prices for office visits and routine labs
  • Placing all charges incurred on a student’s account
  • Working with all types of insurance, though coverage is dependent on individual’s policies
  • Providing help with Supplemental Insurance as available in the Minnesota Family Planning Program
  • Providing Non-Criteria Financial Assistance as available
