WSU Health Advocates
Promoting a Healthy Warrior Community
The Student Health & Wellness Advocate Program is comprised of mainly WSU students but is open to Minnesota State Southeast students as well.
WSU Health Advocates are committed to promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles by modeling healthy choices to their peers.
Our advocates act as a resource for campus and the community through educational events and presentations.
What the Health Advocates Do
Health Advocates educate other students about WSU’s seven dimensions of wellness.
They share information and prevention strategies for health issues, and refer students to other resources on- and off-campus.
The advocates host a wide variety of events of each year centered around the seven dimensions of wellness.
Events we’ve hosted include:
- Paws to Destress
- Wellness Wednesdays
- Great Warrior 5k
- Trivia Nights
- Flower Potting Party
- Self-Care Night
