Health and Wellness Services provides direct and proactive health care to ensure students are in optimal health and pursuing lifelong wellness, enabling academic success and laying a foundation for lifelong positive societal impact.

Health and Wellness Services offers a high-quality full primary care clinic and numerous health and wellness programs and outreach efforts to the Winona State University student body at large. Our three essential teams include our clinical team, health and wellness promotion team and our operational team.

Graduate Assistantships with Health & Wellness Services

Health & Wellness Services offers numerous graduate assistantships within the wellness field. 

2018-2019: Health Promotion Programming - Half-Time 

This position is responsible for assisting the health promotion coordinator with general programming in all seven dimensions of wellness and department events. The position also works closely with the student organization Student Health & Wellness Advocates.

2018-2019: Strategic Prevention Framework Partnerships for Success (SPF PFS) Grant - Full-Time

The Partnerships for Success grant aims to reduce underage drinking and marijuana use among college-age students in Winona. One position is focused on coalition building and the other on implementation of prevention strategies.
