Tuition for Academic Year 2020 - 2021 is $797.25 per credit for All Residencies Graduate Nursing and DNP Differential, and $1,070.93 per credit for All Residencies Advanced Practice Nursing Differential.

All Residencies Graduate Nursing and DNP Differential rates apply to all graduate nursing courses except those where the All Residencies Advanced Practice Nursing Differential apply.

All Residencies Advanced Practice Nursing Differential rates apply to the following courses:

  • Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist Role Courses: NURS 620, NURS 624, NURS 625, NURS 630, NURS 631
  • Family Nurse Practitioner Role Courses: NURS 640, NURS 641, NURS 642, NURS 643, NURS 644, NURS 646
  • Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Role Courses: NURS 673, NURS 674, NURS 675, NURS 676, NUR 677
  • Psychiatric-mental Health Nurse Practitioner Role Courses: NURS 609, NURS 679, NURS 680, NURS 681, NURS 682, NURS 683, NURS 686, NURS 687

One requirement for the Master of Science Degree in Nursing is completion of a thesis or scholarly inquiry paper (SIP) project. The Thesis and SIP Guidelines (PDF) document provides students with information on the thesis/SIP project requirement in this program.

The purpose of the DNP Practice Project in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at Winona State University is to provide the student with the opportunity to develop expertise in clinical practice knowledge development to enhance quality of care and patient outcomes.
