Water Resources Center

Our Purpose

The Southeastern Minnesota Water Resources Center strives to educate and inform the students, citizens, and public agencies of the region about our natural resources through the development of partnerships and research. The WRC supports the continuing development and implementation of water resource planning in the region by gathering, storing and processing data related to ground and surface water, and makes the data available to governmental agencies and local citizens. The WRC is especially interested in working with the communities of southeastern Minnesota to address water resources issues.
