Online Organizational Leadership

The focus of online Organizational Leadership is leadership, continuous improvement, organizational change, project management, and internal communication. Throughout the program, you will learn more about your personal leadership style and leave the program a more confident, ethical, analytical professional.

Certificate Option

This Certificate is an optional pathway for learners who are interested in a post baccalaureate credential. The 18 credits can be applied to the Master’s Degree in Leadership Education: Organizational Leadership emphasis. This Certificate will prepare new learners for promotion and enhance employment opportunities in their professional fields.

Master's Degree Option

The Master’s degree requires the same course work as the Certification option with the addition of 15 credits of course work. This emphasis will prepare new graduates for promotion or enhanced employment opportunities in their professional fields and it is intended for leaders in education, non-profit organizations, healthcare, and government agencies.

The Organizational Leadership program consists of 33 credits in a combination of core Leadership Education courses, courses specific to the Organizational Leadership emphasis and elective courses. A capstone writing project and a comprehensive examination are also required for a master’s in Leadership Education.

The Organizational Leadership online courses have been peer reviewed by faculty outside of Winona State University meeting the Quality Matters course design standards.The Quality Matters (QM) Program is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of online courses and online components.
