AACSB Accreditation

The College of Business Bachelor of Science majors and minors have earned accreditation by the distinguished AACSB Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education, and has been earned by less than five percent of the world's business schools. Winona State is one of fifty undergraduate-only institutions to be accredited by AACSB.

WSU's College of Business underwent the process of a rigorous internal review, evaluation, and adjustment. The focus was on a high-quality teaching environment, a commitment to continuous improvement and curricula responsive to the needs of businesses.

WSU is proud of meeting and exceeding the standards for AACSB accreditation.

Strategic Management Planning Processes & Outcomes

Input from the college’s various stakeholders is channeled through four actively involved Dean’s advisory boards (faculty, students, alumni, and business/community).

This input is utilized to create, monitor, and align our college’s mission and strategic/financial plan. The strategic plan (PDF) covers a five-year time horizon and contains details of objectives, responsible people, and timing.
